  • We understand that life happens! If you are running late, please text or call us at 206.902.7688 to let us know.

However, per our policy – all arrivals 10 minutes or more after class has started will be denied admittance.

  • Our kid’s dance classes run in sessions, which typically last anywhere from 6-9 weeks depending on holidays and school breaks. When you register your dancer, they are registered for the full length of the session. Our adult classes do not run in sessions, they run year-round and can be booked up to 60 days in advance.

ADULT CLASS FAQS

  • Weekly Classes: These classes occur every week, all year round! No need to catch up on choreo– our instructors teach a new dance weekly.

Monthly Workshops: These classes only occur once or twice a month. Check out our adult class page to check out our exciting upcoming workshops!

Series: Our series are perfect for dancers looking to workshop a longer routine. Participants will spend multiple classes perfecting choreography, learning formations and formation changes, and polishing the finished product!

  • We believe that dance is for everyone and should be accessible to all, regardless of where you are in your dance journey! Follow this link for more information about our different levels. If you’re still not sure which level fits you, feel free to call us at 206.902.7688 or stop by the studio!

  • We offer private lessons for those looking for more of a one-on-one dance class experience. Our private lessons are $100/hour base price for one person, $20/hour for each additional adult, and $10/hour for each additional child. We require a one hour minimum booking. After the hour minimum is met, our private lessons can be booked in half hour increments. Follow this link to get more information about scheduling a private lesson!

  • Dance can be intimidating and scary to try for the first time, but we pride ourselves on offering classes that are accessible to even the most inexperienced dancers. If you’re not sure what to try first, we recommend any of our introductory classes. These classes are for our car-dancing, shower-jamming dance enthusiasts who have no dance class experience and are unsure where to begin but are excited about trying something new! Don’t worry, you’re not alone and we’re excited to be your first.

  • We have no dress code for kids or adult classes, however we highly recommend dancers wear something they can easily move in. We suggest sweatpants, leggings, or active wear shorts as well as a t-shirt or top that is breathable. In terms of shoes, we kindly ask that dancers wear or bring clean shoes to dance in. Especially through the wetter months, wearing clean shoes can prevent getting water on our floor or any potential for dancers to slip and fall. For our heels class, we recommend wearing an open-toed bootie with a stiletto heel, thin soles, and laces to provide proper ankle support and adjustability. If heels are new to you, a lower 3.5 inch heel is recommended.

  • Any of our weekly classes and monthly workshops can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 4 hours before class begins. You can do this using the link located at the bottom of your confirmation email. Please reach out to hello@poproxdance.com if you need any help doing so. Classes cancelled before the 4 hour window closes will be returned to your account for later use. Classes cancelled after the 4 hour window closes will be charged in full.

For our adult class series, due to the level of preparation involved for our instructors, we do require a full 72 hours (3 days) notice for series’ cancellations in order to issue a refund of any kind. Cancellations received between 3 and 7 days before the series begins will receive cash credits on your account for later use. Cancellations received prior to the 7 day window will be refunded to your original form of payment.

  • Of course! Feel free to message us on Instagram (@poproxdancestudio) or send us an email (hello@poproxdance.com) if you have a specific song request for any of our classes! We will be more than happy to pass your request along to our instructors.

KIDS CLASS FAQS

  • After registering your dancer for a Session, we consider their first class to be a trial class. If for whatever reason, you or your dancer do not like the class — we issue you a full refund, no questions asked. We do not offer trial classes for our 4-Week Series classes.

  • We have no dress code for kids classes, however we highly recommend dancers wear something they can easily move in. We suggest sweatpants, leggings, or activewear shorts as well as a t-shirt or top that is breathable. In terms of shoes, we kindly ask that dancers wear or bring clean shoes to dance in. Especially through the wetter months, wearing clean shoes can prevent getting water on our floor or any potential for dancers to slip and fall. Please also send your dancer with a water bottle so they can stay hydrated while they dance!

  • If you can’t find a class that works for your dancer’s schedule, we offer the option to schedule your own private group class. Gather a group of 6+ kids together, pick a time and a date that works for you, and we can create a custom class for your group of dancers. Please reach out to hello@poproxdance.com for more information or to request a private group class.

  • You may cancel or reschedule your kid’s enrollment up to one week before the class begins. Any cancellations within the one week window will be credited to your account and can be used to book a future class or summer camp.
