LOCATION + DIRECTIONS

PopRox Capitol Hill | 
1429 12th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122

We are located on the the lower level of the Chophouse Row building, directly across from Good Weather/Tailwind Café. If you’re entering Chophouse Row from the entrance on 12th Ave (near Plum Bistro), walk down the stairs and all the way to the end of the hallway– we will be the far door on the right. If you’re entering from the 11th Ave entrance (near the restaurant Xom), enter the door at the end of the alleyway and we will be the first door on the left. 

At our Capitol Hill location leave plenty of time to find street parking (we recommend near Cal Anderson Park or in the neighborhood around the Seattle U or SAAS campuses). Don’t want to bother with street parking? Try the Diamond Lot on 12th opposite Pacific Hardware.

CLASS DROP-OFF + WAIVER

Please drop off and check in your dancer no more than 5-10 minutes before class begins in order for us to manage dancers who are coming and going.

Please make sure to fill out the online EMERGENCY CONTACT & AUTHORIZED PICK-UP FORM + LIABILITY WAIVER that was shared in the welcome email. All dancers registered for a class at PopRox must have this form filled out by a legal guardian before their first day of class at PopRox.

CLASS PICK UP + CHECK-OUT

Our classes have a 50-55 minute runtime in order to leave time for us to transition into our next class. We totally understand that traffic and setbacks happen — if you are running late, feel free to text us at (206) 902-7688 with your name and the location you are picking your dancer up from so we can inform your dancer that you are on the way! 

We require all dancers to be signed out at the end of class before leaving the studio. Please make sure to check in with the front desk to sign your dancer out at the end of class, as we won't allow them to leave the studio on their own if you have not given explicit permission in the online waiver.

WHAT TO BRING + WEAR

Please send your dancer with a water bottle so we can keep them hydrated throughout their class. We do have a water cooler for refills as well as a few extra cups in case they forget their water bottle. 

Please make sure your dancer has clothing that is easy for them to move in — we recommend leggings, sweatpants, comfortable t-shirts + sweaters, as well as athletic shoes. Please, no boots or sandals. 

STAYING FOR YOUR DANCER’S CLASS

Just a friendly reminder to any parents who are staying for the duration of the class — you are more than welcome to stay and watch your dancers– however, we ask that you please sit at the communal table/desiganted sitting areas instead of standing next to the dance floor. We find that this minimizes distractions for your dancers and ensures that they remain as focused as possible during their dance class. 

RULES + POLICIES

Pick Up Policy

We require all dancers to be signed out by an authorized guardian at the end of each class. If your dancer is of an age where you allow them to leave the studio on their own, please make note of this on the online waiver. 

Three Strike Rule

Being a kid ain’t easy and we totally understand. Here at PopRox we employ a three strike rule. Difficult days happen and when they do we remain in constant communication with our dancer’s parents so we can work on any challenges we may experience together. Our ultimate goal is to create a fun and creative class experience for ALL dancers and instructors. If any dancer continues to disrupt other students’ experiences or struggles with our class rules, and two warnings have been issued (to both kid and parent) we will ask for the dancer to no longer attend our classes, with no potential for a refund. This policy is to protect all of our dancer’s experiences equally and we ask that you clearly communicate this policy to your kid before classes begin.
