SUMMER CAMP DIRECTOR

Originally born in Brooklyn and raised in the twin towns of Maplewood and South Orange, NJ, Lila brings a rich blend of East Coast energy and global perspective to everything she does. Lila is a blues dance instructor who’s taught across the U.S., Canada, London, and Portugal—and now she’s bringing her love of movement, mindfulness, and cultural storytelling to the PopRox summer camp team! With a background in intrinsically motivated learning, Lila has worked with learners of all ages, from preschoolers to adults. At PopRox, Lila is passionate about building spaces where campers feel safe to try, explore, and express themselves—especially in moments that feel silly, weird, or brand new.

SUMMER CAMP COUNSELLOR

Born and raised in Seattle, Christina brings a vibrant mix of creativity, care, and charisma to the PopRox team! A full-time college student studying theater, music, and dance, she’s passionate about movement as a fun, expressive way to connect with others and stay active. Christina grew up volunteering at children’s community theaters, where she led summer camps and assisted with productions. She loves helping kids explore their creativity and build positive, joyful relationships with the arts. At PopRox, Christina is all about creating a space where campers feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. To her, community means being surrounded by people who show up with love—and she’s excited to bring that energy all summer long.
