At PopRox Dance Studio, we aim to create those memories in our dance class for you and your kids to look back on.

5 + 6 YEAR OLDS
DANCE BASICS
Tuesdays @ 4:30pm
Our dance foundations class for 5 and 6 year olds is the best place for your dancer to begin their dance journey. This class will review finding the beat, learning an 8 count, dancing to different music styles, and even how to create dance moves of their own and incorporate them into a longer routine. There are so many dance foundations that your kiddos can learn to set them up for success. If you’re looking for a confidence-building class for your dancer to begin their dance journey, you found it!
Classes will occur on Tuesdays @ 4:30pm from April 23rd - June 18th.

Thursdays @ 3:30pm
Hip-hop is a broad category that contains so many fun foundations and components to explore. Our hip-hop class will review many of these basics like grooves and bounces. These classes are broken down into three sections: warm ups, routine, and fun dance games. Dancers spend the session working on a longer routine that will contain the basics they are building, some fun choreo, and even some opportunities for them to contribute their own dance moves and suggestions. We promise your kiddo will have fun and learn a ton!

K-Pop has rapidly taken the world by storm and the kiddos are loving it too! This class is perfect for your K-Pop loving dancer who is looking to learn all of their favorite dances from K-Pop star’s music videos and performances. Dancers will learn the latest (kid-appropriate) K-Pop songs and dances, while working on other important dance foundations that span genres. Classes will be broken down into three sections: warm ups, routines, and even some fun dance games. These classes are fun, confidence-building, and K-Pop-focused start to finish!

Is your dancer K Pop obsessed? It’s okay, we get it and we can help! This class is perfect for your kiddo who is looking to learn more about K-Pop, all of their favorite performers, and the dances from their music videos and performances. Our instructor will choose an (age-appropriate) K-Pop song to teach for the course of the session and dancers will learn their favorite dances, while working on other important dance foundations that span genres. This class is great for kids who love K-Pop and those who want to learn more about all it has to offer!
Classes will occur on Wednesdays @ 3:30pm from April 24th - June 26th. There will be no class on June 19th due to Juneteenth

There are so many aspects to explore within the hip hop genre, and this class gives dancers a taste of all that it has to offer. Dancers will spend class time warming up, building hip hop foundations, and working with their instructor to build one long routine. Our classes are judgment-free and focused on building confidence while learning more about hip hop and dance fundamentals that span all genres. If your dancer loves hip hop music and choreography, this is the class for them!

K-Pop may seem like the latest craze, but we promise it’s oh-so-fun and very much here to stay. This class is perfect for teens looking to learn all the fun choreo from their favorite K-Pop stars. The instructor will break down their favorite (age-appropriate) dances and teach them all the details and footwork while also working on foundations that are important across all dance genres. If your teen is looking for a class to dive even deeper into their K-Pop obsession, this is the class for them!
Classes will occur on Wednesdays @ 4:30pm from April 24th - June 26th. There will be no class on June 19th due to Juneteenth
