Our dance foundations class for 5 and 6-year-olds is the best place for your dancer to begin their dance journey. This class will review finding the beat, dancing to different music styles, and even how to create dance moves of their own and incorporate them into a longer routine. There are so many dance foundations that your kiddos can learn to set them up for success. If you’re looking for a confidence-building class for your dancer to begin their dance journey, you found it!
Classes will occur on Fridays @ 4:00pm from April 26th - June 21st

Our dance foundations class for 5 and 6-year-olds is the best place for your dancer to begin their dance journey. Our wonderful instructor and resident b-boy, Derrick (aka NIBZ) is now teaching a kid’s breakdancing class! Sign your dancer up for Derrick’s class and they’ll get the chance to explore the foundations of breakdancing in a safe, fun, and approachable way!
Classes will occur on Wednesdays @ 4:00 PM at PopRox Capitol Hill from April 24th - June 26th. There will be no class on May 8th due to instructor being out of town and due to the Juneteenth holiday, there will be no class on June 19th (cost has been prorated to reflect shortened session)

Is your dancer K Pop obsessed? It’s okay, we get it and we can help! This class is perfect for your kiddo who is looking to learn more about K-Pop, all of their favorite performers, and the dances from their music videos and performances. Our instructor will choose an (age-appropriate) K-Pop song to teach for the course of the session and dancers will learn their favorite dances, while working on other important dance foundations that span genres. This class is great for kids who love K-Pop and those who want to learn more about all it has to offer!

This class is perfect for teens who are looking to explore hip hop and all that the genre has to offer. Our teens spend class time learning some important hip hop fundamentals, building a hip hop inspired routine, and spending time working together to build and incorporate their own choreography. The instructor will review some hip hop basics like footwork variations, groove variations, isolations, and control. This class is perfect for building your teen’s confidence – in dance and beyond – while learning hip hop fundamentals and choreography.
